T-shirts for the Charles St market in April

For those of you who came to the February Charles St Market you will remember the day!
It was hard to forget, very hot, very windy, VERY VERY! In the same breath I have to say
the day was filled with the laughter and joy of friends and family – we all had a good time.

That said, I am undeterred and look forward to PERFECT weather for the April Market.
In anticipation I have produced my first run of T-shirts. All Australian Made.

“What no photos today?” “no sorry but I do have GREAT NEWS”

I have had so much interest in my one and only t-shirt.
I want to make sure I produce it the right way and I can – it is GREAT NEWS!

With the help of my Screen Printing friend Andy at 1+1=3+8 (on sydney rd) I have located a wholesaler that produces an all Australian product. I can get my T’s locally, get them printed locally, by Andy, and of course they are designed very locally, by me in my studio.

So this is my plan….
1. Go to the market with my prototype
2. Get Orders
3. Go into production

If I get 20 orders…. My little dove will by FLYING OUT THE DOOR and out into the world on a top quality T with a top quality print and dare I say it… a top quality design. YAY!

See you at the market Sunday 26th

and the production line grinds to a halt…..

the LAST of my lino cuts are being produced. I think the owl might be a bit of a favorite and so it gets special attention. Unframed lino cuts will be ONLY $10.

A bit of a tip… simple images look good in ornate frames and the more complex images suit simple frames. So the unframed lino cuts really are a great option.

WOW…. I’m turning into quite the sales person!

The lovliest message

Last night, just before I went to bed, I received the loveliest message inquiring about my artwork. Brenda must have known my sales pitch even before I’d revealed it to the world.
Her reason for contacting me was to make a purchase for her daughter which is delightful and reinforces everything I hope happens with this artistic journey.

To give a gift that is handmade, not mass produced, unique and lets someone know how much you care. To give something that is affordable and that can mean so much more than the gift you spend way too much money on.

A BIG BIG thanks to Brenda for being the FIRST person to say – that’s a gift I want to give.

Has anyone seen my dining table?

This has been the interior design look I’ve been going for since Christmas.
I call it “Creative Chic” my partner calls it  “Has anyone seen my dining table”

The truth is I can’t cook so the table is getting the more use than it’s had in years.

Did I mention RECYCLING?

I don’t think I have drawn attention to the fact NOTHING goes
into our recycle bin before it’s been assessed for
potential beautification.

It really is AMAZING to see a humble muesli bar box become
a happy little statement….  the cup cakes look deceptively healthy.
Clearly the packaging works!
